If one kid gains a curiosity for David Axelrod or feels the thrill of cutting the profanity out of an Eminem track with a flick of the crossfader, then the game has accomplished its postmodern mission.

DJ Hero is pretty fantastic.
DJ Hero is a fun and challenging experience even if the world of mixing and scratching tracks doesn’t interest you.
The effect of creating a whole new piece of music with the elements of the two songs, complimented by scratching and other special effects, is one of the things that makes DJ Hero so unique.
